What is the survey about?

You are invited to take part in a survey that seeks to uncover the most common barriers that women face in life, work and relationships.

Who is undertaking the survey?

This survey is being conducted by ‘Tend’. We are an organisation founded to help women navigate the barriers that hold them back and help them step into their brilliance.

What will participation involve?

Your participation will involve completing an online survey about the barriers that you feel limit you in life, work, and in your relationships (e.g. self-doubt, self-criticism), along with providing basic demographic information. The survey will take approximately 10-minutes to complete.

What are the benefits of the survey?

The results of this survey will inform a framework for empowering women to overcome the barriers that hold them back. It is expected that this will enable women to step further into their potential.

Are there any risks associated with participating?

There are no foreseeable risks to participating in this survey. However, if you feel distressed as a result of participation, we advise that you seek support from an appropriately qualified counsellor.

Can I withdraw from the study?

Participation in this study is completely voluntary. You are not under any obligation to participate and can withdraw at any time without adverse consequences. Data collected prior to withdrawal will be destroyed where possible, however once data is de-identified, individual responses will not be able to be identified and thus will not be able to be removed from the dataset.

Will anyone else know the results of the survey?

All data will be de-identified and stored electronically using password protection. De-identified data may be further analysed by co-researchers under the same conditions.

Aggregated results will be reported in group form in research reports, media reports, or seminars, ensuring that no individual may be identified.

Will I be able to find out the results of the survey?

If you would like to find out about the results of the survey please provide your email address at the end of the survey.
